Our Story

Scott and Renee Mercer are a couple who share a passion for nature and art. They particularly enjoy the beauty of birds and their life by the lake in Northwestern Wisconsin. In February 2021, Scott decided to reignite his passion for painting by purchasing a set of acrylic paints, brushes, and canvas. Although he had painted before in college, he had much to learn about the craft. Renee is an avid birder who loves to photograph birds, and many of Scott's paintings are inspired by her images. They currently reside in their lake cottage, having moved there from the city when the pandemic hit, and they both enjoy the peaceful and natural surroundings of the lake.
